MOMMY: … and it’s fun to be outside.

NATALIE: It’s not fun to be outside.

MOMMY: You’re just being contrary.

NATALIE: No, I’m not being contrary.

I got you! “Stop gotting me.”

Do you want to play by the rules or don’t you? “Don’t me.”

Josh left Natalie in the bathtub for a moment. “Daddy, I’m over here. It’s only just me.”

You’re wonderful. “I’m wonderful?” Yes, you’re wonderful. “Thank you, Mommy.”

Hearing Twinkle Twinkle or something on the TV: “They’re singing my song!”

MOMMY: “I’m sad and angry.”

NATALIE: “No, you’re sad but not angry. I don’t want you to be angry.”
